Connector Improvement: Need To add App Query data to the existing shopify connector

Hello Fivtran team ,
There is a requirement to get the channel name / app name data from shopify , Presently we're only getting the app_id corresponding to an order in the shopify orders table and we're unable to map it to the channel name. After talking to shopify support team we found that this data can be fetched through api. Here is the documentation link on the API which is able to provide the required details like app_id and the app_title corresponding to the channel name `https://shopify.dev/docs/api/admin-graphql/2024-01/queries/app`.
I can be added as an indivisual table and that can be used to map the channel for each order

    Sadie from the PM team here. We are working on adding sales channel data to the connector right now. Just to confirm we're satisfying your requirements, can you re-send the link to the API you're thinking this data would come from? The link above doesn't work for me.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your feedback and patience. We added sales channel information to our Shopify connector in December 2024. Here’s how you can map products to their sales channel:

    PRODUCT → PRODUCT_PUBLICATION → PUBLICATION → CATALOG → APP

    The handle field in the APP table serves as the identifier for the sales channel.
