Connector Improvement: Asana API connection
Not plannedCurrently the Asana connector authenticates against Asana using the credentials of an individual Asana user. This is not great:
- the connector can only "see" what the individual user can see
- if the user's access changes or is removed (e.g. the person leaves us!) then the connector stops working.
Asana has facilities for creating an access token / service account for API use. This is independent of any single user principal. It would be superb if the connector could be updated to use this connection option.

Hi Robert
Thank you for pointing this out. We will scope the feasibility of this feature.
While this feature is not currently in our timeline, I've added it to our backlog for consideration. We'll prioritize it based on demand and update you on any developments.

Sandeep,
We have the same issue here and hopping for this to be implemented. Has this moved out from the backlog and to the in-progress state? Is there any way to follow up to directly and get an ETA for implementation? -
I have the same issue, which would be solved by allowing authentication by Asana service accounts in the Fivetran connector.

We are facing the same issue with our Asana integration.
