Connector Improvement: Updating Sailthru Connector

It would be extremely helpful to receive all the fields from the event stream and campaign report tables given the updated schema.

Two examples of fields that stand out as missing, besides the raw dimension fields (i.e. Total NHI Clicks), are the is_real_click and is_real open flags.

    Luke here from the Product team. Thanks for submitting this feature request!

    I've added the event stream data to our team's backlog. I'll provide an update when it's picked up and we have a planned date for rolling it out. 

    I need some more detail on the campaign report tables request. The link you provided looks like it is for reports in the Sailthru UI. I don't see corresponding reports available in Sailthru's API doc or our current ERD.

    Are you expecting new fields to be added to existing campaign tables from our ERD or new ones? We have CAMPAIGN, CAMPAIGN_QUERY and ES_CAMPAIGN_* tables in our ERD. Can you share links to the docs that explain where this data can be found in Sailthru's API?

    Thanks for the reply and looking into this - will be on the lookout for the event stream data! 

    As for the campaign reports piece - I also am not seeing it in any Sailthru API docs, but is there any other way besides manually pulling from the UI that we could get especially those two fields via Fivetran? Maybe something here https://getstarted.sailthru.com/developers/api/stats/?

    Hi Marta,

    Thanks for sharing that link. Using that stats endpoint, it is possible to extract data for the following entities:

    • list​
    • blast
    • send

    We currently sync data for lists from this endpoint. The corresponding table in the destination is called list_stat. However, we don’t sync data for the other two entities. We can add these, however I don't think that will address your request. I don't see any metrics or flags related to real clicks, real opens, or total NHI clicks on the endpoint. 

    Unfortunately, we do not have a contact at Sailthru. You could try contacting your Sailthru account manager or the Sailthru support team to see if they have a recommended way to download this data. Based on their API docs and our analysis of their endpoints it doesn't seem possible to sync this data.
