It would be useful to have in the REST API response the number of rows synced last time or at least some indicator that the sync delivered with a positive number of rows. It will provide the capability to enable conditional triggering of downstream components. Not all connectors will ingest new data, like, File sources, SFTP, or normal systems on public holidays. Also, It can be used for integrated Fivetran transformations to trigger them only if new data has arrived.
