dbt cloud starts charging for any model builds over 15,000 per month. Since Fivetran syncs at the same frequency regardless of time of day, dbt cloud will continuously build models and incurring cost at all hours of the day. This makes it difficult to refresh the data at shorter intervals during the day when users need fresh data because there will be unnecessary builds overnight when nobody is looking at the data. The request is to have the ability to pause the dbt cloud triggers during user specified hours (example 10PM-4AM) to cut down on model builds in dbt cloud.
