please add a new parameter in hvr 6.x to automatically clean up old archived logfiles after x days in $HVR_CONFIG/logarchives (and also the ones in the channels and so on). Today we have to do it manually...

    Hi Marc,

    In HVR 5 we used to have an hvrmaint utility to send out alerts, and perform some housekeeping tasks like the cleanup of archives you mentioned.

    With HVR 6 we moved to just supporting alerts in the system and no longer have a housekeeping utility. Indeed we recommend customers perform their (manual or scheduled) cleanup using OS utilities.

    We have no plans to re-introduce the maintenance utilities.
