Samsara have 2 type of APIs keys.

1) Legacy API keys, these are given to Samsara customers or generated by Samsara / Samsara customers and never expire. These have a prefix samsara_api_* and will work with the Fivetran connector.

2) OAuth Keys, these are generated by 3rd party customers via a Marketplace App, where a a Samsara customer can give a third party, such as an insurance firm access to its data. These OAuth tokens last 1 hour and have a refresh token that needs to be called to obtain a new token. I've been told by Samsara that Fivetran do not support these tokens.

As an insurance company that will be creating a Marketplace application for us to use Fivetran going long term we'd need this supported.
