Connector Improvement: SharePoint Connector - option to delete all records from an existing file.
Not plannedWhen using the SharePoint Connector, there are cases where users want to delete all records from a file that was previously replicated. Here is the proposal:
Upload to a SharePoint directory a new version of an existing file with just the column headers. This will trigger the Connector to run based on the updated timestamp. It will see just the header and then delete all rows in the Destination.
Since not all customers may want this behavior, it can be an optional feature.

Hi Paul,
Thank you for using Fivetran and taking the time to share a creative idea for how we might approach this need.
I'd be interested to know if you have already tried it out and confirmed what happens?
If you created a 'delete' file with exactly 1 row of data - I think all but that 1 row of data would be removed - have you tried this?Thank you once again
Alison
