Connector Improvement: Shopify ERD: MarketingTactic

Hi.

We are looking forward to use the data from the following endpoint which is 'MarketingTactic' (https://shopify.dev/docs/api/admin-graphql/2023-07/enums/MarketingTactic) from Shopify's Admin GraphQL API to get more insights for our customers since they are highly interested in it. It would be great if you could add it to Shopify's ERD.

    Hi Claire,

    The MarketingTactic field is only available via Shopify’s GraphQL API. We have a GraphQL-only version of the Shopify connector that supports this field in TYPE field in MARKETING_EVENT table.

    We can provide you access to this connector; however, it introduces other schema changes compared to the REST API connector (legacy). Please review both schemas in our documentation to ensure compatibility with your requirements: Shopify connector schemas. The GraphQL schema is listed first under "This schema applies to all Fivetran accounts created on or after August 1, 2025."
