Connector Improvement: Amazon Ads connector is missing updates to campaign cost data

Amazon Ads campaign cost data seems to be updated within their system long after the report date. Fivetran does not seem to be pulling in cost/impression/click updates when older records are updated. Per Fivetran support, the campaign_level_report table appears to look back 7 days per sync. However, Amazon seems to modify this data after longer than 7 days so Fivetran is missing those updates. We are seeing the same problem with the sd_campaign_report table. This is causing us to miscalculate our cost/spend data because we are not accurately pulling it into our data warehouse.

Is this still an issue for you? We are analyzing whether a longer lookback period makes sense here. We want to ensure we replicate accurate data; however, there are negative implications of implementing this, too. This could have a significant impact on the performance of the connector. Customers on our previous pricing plans (before the 2025 pricing plan update) would see an increase in the connector's cost because they won't benefit from re-sync detection.
For these reasons, I want to ensure this problem is significant before modifying the connector behavior. I would love any more insights you can provide about this issue, and whether it is still impacting you (or any others following).
