    Hi Leo,

We've added the position_time_type column to the worker_position table please resync your worker table to backfill this data.

    Thanks,

    Frank

    Hi Leo,

Can you help clarify what this "restriction" is? Is this a policy that your Workday admin has set?

    Frank

Here is the best explanation from our HRIS team:

Think of Edit Position Restrictions as editing the (underlying/empty) Position only and it doesn't impact the worker in it. You are setting the restrictions for the next person being hired into it.

In summary it doesn’t impact the worker data which is why we can’t use data from it. For example, if an employee was to change from full-time to part-time, it would not be reflected on position restrictions and would only be reflected at the worker level. Additionally, when we converted data into Workday from PeopleSoft, we did not populate position restriction data for our employees. So, workers from PeopleSoft who were converted into Workday don’t have all/most data populated on position restrictions.
