Connector Improvement: Google Ads Performance Max campaigns

Performance Max campaigns on Google Ads have a asset group (instead of ad group) dimension in order to analyse the performance more granularly. Fivetran should add the asset group API to the Google Ads connector so that we can analyse the performance of asset groups.

    Hi Steven,

    Luke from the Product team here. Thanks for submitting this feature request. 

    We were waiting to add the asset group dimension to our connector because originally Google didn't support the breakdown in combination with segments.date. Google changed that with the release of Google Ads API v16.

    We added support for asset_group as a custom report in our connector in April. You can read more about our recent changes here.
