Connector Improvement: Add Facebook Ads Breakdown "action_converted_product_id"

According to facebook's documentation, [converted_product_quantity] and [converted_product_value]  has to be used together with [action_converted_product_id] breakdown. But the Fivetran Facebook Ads connector doesn't support this breakdown.

Can you please improve the Facebook Ads connector to support the [action_converted_product_id] breakdown?

    Hi all, 

    We recently upgraded our Facebook Ads connector to version 19.0 of the Facebook API. You can read more about that change in our release notes. As part of that release, we now support the action_converted_product_id breakdown. 

    Note: the release notes contain a typo stating the breakdown is 'deprecated'. You can disregard this. The notes will be updated shortly.

    I'm going to mark this request as completed.

    Hi Therese, Luke from the Product team here. 

    Thanks for submitting this feature request. Adding the action_converted_product_id breakdown is on our roadmap. This change is part of a larger project we plan to complete in the next few months.

    I'll provide an update here once we begin rolling this out.

    @Lucas,  Unfortunately the action_converted_product_id breakdown does not work. 

    I tested a new connector and specified the minimum required parameters: The action_converted_product_id and action_type breakdowns, as well as action,  converted_product_quantity and converted_product_value fields.  Nevertheless, Fivetran yields an error when testing the conector, and a generic error when launching the connector as well.  

    So, I do not think this request should be marked as completed.

    Selected breakdowns are subject to the restriction

    Your report configuration contains breakdowns (action_converted_product_id) which support not all of the conversion metrics. The Facebook API will not return the unsupported metrics. See the Facebook Breakdowns Limitations documentation at https://developers.facebook.com/docs/marketing-api/insights/breakdowns/#limitations for additional details.

     

    An error is displayed when forcing the connection after  "Attempting to sync data" and the connector is marked as "Broken".
