Connector Improvement: New Amazon MariaDB RDS CA certificates
Hi, we have a MariaDB instance in RDS which we're unable to connect via the Fivetran connector due to Fivetran not supporting the new `rds-ca-rsa2048-g1` root CA certificate. We have reverted to `rds-ca-2019` and found this to be working on all our instances.
As the `rds-ca-2019` expires in 2024, and with increasing traffic we struggle to find opportunities for maintenance on these databases, we would like to have support for the new signing certificates on the MariaDB RDS connector.
This is reported as an improvement/feature request, but really it's a request to avoid future downtime as the current certificate will eventually expire next year. Support suggested filing a feature request for this. Many thanks.
