Connector Improvement: previous versions of Journey objects in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
CompletedCurrently, when a new version of a "journey" is created in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, our fivetran connector increments a value in the "version" column and overwrites the previous attributes which changed.
I'm requesting that instead of this update, fivetran would instead insert a new row. Essentially, this means changing the PK of the table from (Id) to (Id, version).
An alternative would be to enable history mode on the Journey table, like we can do in the Salesforce connector.

Hi all,
Luke from the Product team here. Thanks for submitting this feature request. We added version as a PK of the JOURNEY table in February 2024. You can view the release notes here: https://fivetran.com/docs/connectors/applications/salesforce-marketing-cloud/changelog#february2024.
I'm going to mark this request as completed.
Cheers,
Luke -
Agreed, Fivetran pulls the most recent version of a Journey regardless of status (Live, Draft, Closed) which throws off reporting for all email sends since we're only looking for the Live Versions and not recent.
Here is the SFMC Docs around the journey object: https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/marketing/marketing-cloud/guide/getInteractionById.html?q=%2Finteraction%2Fv1%2Finteractions%2Fjourneyhistory%2Fdownload
