I created a location using the Oracle connector and configured the ASM settings for the location. When I tried to test the location using the Test Location button on the UI or using the hvrtestlocation cli command it does not test the ASM credentials. The only way to find out if the ASM settings are correct is to start a replication and wait some time until ASM is utilized.

The expectation is to get the ASM setting tested when the Test Connection button is pressed or the hvrtestlocation is used.

Any other suggestions are welcomed that can be used to test the ASM settings without activating a replication.
