Share metrics are available in the Instagram Business connector and have been since our April 2025 update.

The data lives in the media_insights table and is broken out by media type. You can access shares using the following columns:

• video_photo_shares for standard photos and videos
• reel_shares for Reels
• story_shares for Stories
• carousel_album_shares for carousel posts

For most use cases involving feed posts, video_photo_shares is the right column to use.
