Connector Improvement: Add .xml to the list of supported files

We have a supplier who pushes data into our systems using xml files on an ftp site. It would be great if I could pick those files up for processing through Fivetran without a workaround too.

Thank you for sharing your use case for xml files on an ftp site. I have some great news, we recently shipped support for delivering smaller XML files to your warehouse using our file connectors in merge mode. It looks like the updates to the Supported file formats page will be available soon.
During setup of the connector you will need to select XML in the optional the File Type configuration. Here is the relevant part of the FTP connector setup guide
