    Hi all,

Luke from the Product team here. Thanks for submitting and responding to this feature request. We've added it to an upcoming sprint and plan to roll this out soon. I'll post again here once it's done.

    Cheers,
    Luke

Hi Evelyn, Calvin from the Product team here!

To clarify your request, are you saying that for some accounts, the asset_feed_spec field populates and for others it does not? Is the asset_feed_spec_link_urls field of use to you?

    Hi Calvin!

The distinction lies in the difference between the asset_feed_spec and the asset_feed_spec_link_urls. The asset_feed_spec contains a ton of information - you can see the complete list of sub fields here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/marketing-api/reference/ad-asset-feed-spec/

None of the sub-fields are synced except for the link_urls. I actually don't have a use case for the link_urls, but some of the missing subfields, including images and videos, contain foreign keys that are missing in the table. For dynamic creative all of the details about the creative is stored in the asset_feed_spec (which Fivetran currently does not sync). This means that I can't tie creatives back to their assets since the image / video ids are stored in the asset_feed_spec.

This would be solved by syncing the entire asset_feed_spec, instead of just the link_urls subfield.

Let me know if that helps clear things up!

    Hi all,

The asset_feed_spec is a complicated object containing many lists each with individual fields. Meta's documentation on these fields isn't comprehensive. We need access to someone's Meta API to confirm the field types.

We'll send access requests to the accounts that have responded to this feature request. Please prioritize responding to these requests to help us complete this task.

Thanks in advance for your help.

HI Lucas, do have any update on when this is to be rolled out?

    Thanks,

    Sean
