Connector Improvement: Connector Improvement: App Store Connect: 2FA Telephone Number
AnsweredHi,
We have a problem generated with the Fivetran App Store Connect connector. Most of the accounts (Apple IDs) used for this kind of connector are being deactivated from Apple. After calling the support service from Apple, they reactivate the accounts, but the same error returns some days later. The third time, the account is blocked and cannot be reactivated again.
As you answered us in the last support ticket,
In the current 2fa setup form, if the apple id is changed, then it does not have a functionality to allow you to re-register the phone number with this new apple id. Thus it is recommended that customers create a new connector instead. I do believe that we are able to assist with this as well
Creating new connectors, implies the creation of new users, new connectors, historical syncs, change our ETL process, etc.
Our feature request is, Could you implement a change that allow us to re-register a used phone number in a new Apple-id? or to change the phone number associated to a connector? That would reduce the impact of this problem in our work.
Thanks

Hi Sergio - Thanks for submitting this feature request.
Our engineering team investigated your request:
Using our test connector we changed the account and set the same phone number we used for our first account to our newly created account and all appeared to connect fine.
Are you experiencing a different outcome when you try to re-register a used phone number to a new account?
Thanks,
Erin
