Connector Improvement: Salesforce - Use queryAll to retrieve archived data
Not plannedSalesforce's API offers query and queryAll functions to get data. The data we are interested in is archived in Salesforce and cannot be easily reported on. One of the reasons to extract data from Salesforce was to get access to this archived data. Only the queryAll function offers this functioality.

Hi Cody,
Thanks for the request. This isn't something we've heard a lot of demand for, so it would be interesting to hear any more specific context you're able to share regarding the analytic value of archived data. Are you interested in archived objects of all types or just for a few particular objects? As of right now, we don't have this planned, but we will add it to our list to monitor and prioritize as we collect more context and demand for it.Best regards,
Ray Harris

Thanks for replying. The main objects we're looking at are tasks and activities. These objects, once marked completed in Salesforce, become archived and difficult to report on.

Hi @..., we have a similar issue for our use case. TASK object is marked as completed, and isArchived column is marked as True in Salesforce end, but not marked in Destination since the column IS_ARCHIVED does not get ingested and does not get pulled, so we can't report on which tasks got completed.

@Cody, note that the IS_ARCHIVED column for TASK object is now available in Fivetran.
