Connector Improvement: NCLOB support in Oracle connector

Hi we are using you Oracle connector quite actively. Unfortunately there are some nclob fields in some of the tables we need to copy which are currently not supported by fivetran. This makes these tables hard to replicate as we need to set up an additional sync using an entirely different technology stack to merge in these fields.

Support for this would be very welcome.

    Hello!

    Thanks for your feedback, Kevin from the product team. We do have this request on our radar, as well as support for CLOB. So, both CLOB and NCLOB are on our radar.

    Could you let us know what destination you are planning to use? One consideration is that many destinations do not natively support these binary objects like CLOBs natively.

    While we don't have a commitment for this feature, we will continue tracking this based on feedback.

    Hi Kevin, sorry for the long radio silence. Our destination is currently PostgreSQL.
