Connector Improvement: Shopify Connector - Ability to select desired tables to destination

Currently, we do not have the ability to select tables when we want data from Shopify, we would like store only select tables in our destination. We would want the ability to select the tables we want sent to our destination and not all the tables available in the ERD.

    Hi Nana,

    Thanks for writing in. We typically only make table-level sync configuration available for database connectors and sources which have a database-like interface on the backend. For Shopify, our design preference would be to maintain the simplicity maintainability of a single configuration, giving us the freedom to focus on other feature improvements and new connectors.

    Could I ask about the motivation for the request for table selection ability? Could it be to reduce storage utilization in the destination, MAR management, sensitive data, or perhaps something else? This additional context from yourself and any other interested customers will help us prioritize such a feature request in the future!
