Connector Improvement: Jira user audit detail
CompletedHi - it would be extremely useful to know the last user to update an issue record. The connector pulls timestamps which are obviously critical, but we have no visibility of who created or changed a record.
This info would be very useful for troubleshooting and understanding if a process is being followed.
Thank you.

Agreed!

Hi Stephen, Anna from the Product team here! I'd like to understand this use case a little better. You can grab update_author_id from the WORKLOG table, which you could then join to the ISSUE table for a view of the last user to update a ticket. Would that solve this need?

Hi Anna
Thanks for the note. I did see this table but our version only has about 600 records in it, so I presumed it was a system table.
If you could help me understand how to populate this so a record exists for all our tickets (approx 100K), then it might do the job.
Best regards
Stephen

Hi Anna
Can we progress this feature request, please?
Ideally we would like to capture the author id for all field changes. This data is available through the Jira API so Fivetran should be able to collect it.
Looking forward to your response!
Stephen
