    Hi Brad, Sam from the Product Team here - thanks for submitting this request! We don't have this planned at this time. I am curious though, are you only looking to get the above functionality? Are there any other ways that you would like to use a Slack connector?  In the meantime, we will continue to collect customer demand to justify the commitment to support & maintain a high-quality Fivetran connector. Every upvote on this request increases the case to build it.

    Hi Sam, my team is looking to use a Slack connector as well, but for analysis of messages in public channels. Hope that helps you prioritize this!

    Hello! A Slack connector would be amazing!!

    In company we are using Slack as another communication channel with clients/partners on top of Jira and Intercom. Data of last two are handled with Fivetran, but for Slack we are using our own ways of ingestion, which is fine but if Fivetran could do it it would be CRAZY good!!

    The main endpoints to be used: Users, threads, replies, channels 

    We would also like a Slack connector! We've got two teams that would use the messages from public channels. Our Operations team uses Slack to escalate issues, so having the timing and contents of Slack posts would be valuable data. Our Data Platform team wants to analyze and organize questions in Slack around data warehouse tables, so we can store them in a central metadata repository, associating the Slack posts with tables to help people find answers to questions. 

    This would be a great addition. In addition to pulling in channels and users (and possibly messages), the slack admin analytics api provides exports for member and public channel analytics (docs) which would be useful. I have a google cloud functions source set up to pull this data, but an official connector would be even better.

    I am interested in pulling in messages from certain channels.

    We're looking to pull in Slack messages and emoji reactions in both public and private channels.

    Would be very useful as we provide our customers with shared slack channels for support and engagement. Would like to do analytics on interactions.

    Also interested in this integration! Has lots of upvotes -- may the Fivetran team provide an update on when this should be expected?
