New Connector: Amazon Selling Partner API (SP-API)
PlannedHello,
We have several clients utilizing Amazon to sell their products and would like to be able to report on this data. Since Amazon recently improved their API (from MWS to SP-API), it would be nice to be able to use this data.
Here is a list of API docs for the SP-API: https://github.com/amzn/selling-partner-api-docs
And a list of their models/endpoints: https://github.com/amzn/selling-partner-api-models
Happy to discuss our use cases further if needed.

Hi Brandon, Benoit and Massimiliano, Sam from the Product team here- Thanks for submitting this request! We don't have Amazon Selling Partner planned at this time. We will continue to collect customer demand to justify the commitment to support & maintain a high-quality Fivetran connector. Every upvote on this request increases the case to build it.

I second this! having access to the order, inventory, transport, and financial data directly would be very very useful.
-
I confirm that having this connector would be great!

Having this would be super helpful!

I'm a little perplexed as to why there isn't more demand for a connector for the world's largest e-commerce platform. Not just here, but Stitch, Matillion, and Rivery don't have connectors either. The major options for MWS connectors seem to be OpenBridge (awful UX and no Snowflake support), Daton (new and unreliable), or the PowerBI integration (we don't use PowerBI).
Does anyone have insight as to why this is the case? Is there a better way to get orders & marketing data into a warehouse from Seller Central?
Anyway, not having this is going to become a major issue for us.
UPDATE | 2021-08
We're using Daton for now. They are providing support and working hard to build a quality product. The UI is good in principle -- certainly better than OpenBridge, which we used before -- but it has a lot of broken features.
We looked at AirByte -- I love the idea, but it's not developed enough for us yet. We also like the look of Data Virtuality Pipes (see below), but we haven't tried it yet and the price for a single low-volume connector is higher than others. Both of these use the SP-API instead of the old MWS API. Daton is also building an SP-API integration. -
Also, this request should be combined with requests for an MWS connector, since they provide more or less the same data (and MWS will eventually be deprecated in favour of SP-API).

Hi Asher,
for a more appealing UX, Snowflake support and reliable, stable data pipelines from the Selling Partner API into your DWH, you can try Data Virtuality Pipes' SP-API connector.

Agreed, this would be very useful, especially when combining with amazon ads data as well.

We use AWS Marketplace to sell some of our products and this connector would allow us to automate end-of-month reconciliations for our Finance team.

Hi Rui, check out the Amazon SP-API data connector here.

Huge value to our business.

Very much needed for our business..

I am surprised that Fivetran doesn't have this connector already. I have tried to use Airbyte but can't get it to work. Other alternatives are too expensive. I would definitely use Fivetran if you had this connector available.
