New Connector: Azure Synapse SQL

We would like to use an Azure Synapse DW SQL Pool host as a source server. When trying to use the existing Azure SQL Server connector the following error happens when trying to get the schema:
com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerException: Parse error at line: 1, column: 183: Incorrect syntax near 'QUOTENAME'

We do support Azure Synapse here: https://fivetran.com/docs/destinations/azure-warehouse
It sounds like you may have been using SQL Server: https://fivetran.com/docs/destinations/sql-server

Any update on this? The documentation you sent is for destination. We have it as a source connector and get this same error.
