Related to the feature enhancement request "Support Oracle TH8ASCII replicate to Target UTF8

LDP/HVR does not support the “Thai_CI_AS” collation/character that is required by our key LDP/HVR customer.

Background

This feature enhancement request is related to the feature enhancement request for the “TH8TISASCII” character set support that we submitted in April 2023. 

In addition to the “TH8TISASCII”, our key LDP/HVR customer is also deploying SQL Server with the “Thai_CI_AS” collation/character set and wants to use the LDP/HVR to replicate the data from the SQL Server (Thai_CI_AS collation) to Kafka 2.13-3.2.3.  However, the LDP/HVR does not support the “Thai_CI_AS” as well as “TH8TISASCII” in the current release.

As the result, the current LDP/HVR project is pending, and it becomes a major roadblock for our new LDP/HVR projects that we are going to have with the customer this year.  We urgently need Fivetran to support both the “Thai_CI_AS” and the “TH8TISASCII” ASAP within Q2 2023, please.
