Connector Improvement: Customize schema change settings at the table level
Not plannedIt would be really useful to be able to create custom schema change settings at the table level. For larger tables, we may not want to trigger a costly resync if a column is added. It would be great to be notified about these schema changes before a costly sync is triggered. Currently, schema change settings are configured at the connector level.

Hi Sam - I'm curious why you are concerned about re-sync costs because they are free with Fivetran? Is your concern theoretical or have you experienced that? Also, which source(s) would be your priority?
Cheers,

Hey Fraser - My concern is related to the scenario where a new field is added to a table in our Postgres db, for example. Fivetran will then consider every row in the table to have been updated and will start re-syncing every row (not free of cost in my experience) during the next sync time.
