Connector Improvement: Support deletions in Github Repository table
AnsweredCurrently, Fivetran does not mark deleted repositories in any way. If a repository is deleted and afterwards created with the same name. This leads to two entries being present with the same name, but different IDs. Unless the table was marked "archived" before deletion.
Currently, one way to create differences if the repo was not marked as "archived" before deletion is to mark it afterwards manually.
It would be nice to have additional information that would mark the repository as "deleted" if it was deleted so that it would be easier to keep a list of currently active repositories.

Hi Maris -
Thanks for submitting this feature request. It looks like there are a few different ways to capture deleted repositories, one of which is using the webhook events.
We don't currently have this planned, however i think it's a valid improvement. Do you mind sharing how often you are deleting repositories? Is this a frequent event that is occurring?
Thanks,
Erin

Hello Erin.
This seems to be a surprisingly frequent occurrence. Can't give you a specific frequency, but at least once every 1-2 weeks. Could be related to the need to clean up repository history, and from experience, the best way to do it is by deleting and recreating the repository.
