Connector Improvement: Quickbooks Connector - Missing "Bank Balance" field from connector - ACCOUNT table
In the Quickbooks Online UI, there is a "Bank Balance" field next to the BALANCE field in the accounts view--see screenshot below. This Bank Balance field is not being passed in the ACCOUNT table as one might expect. This field indicates the actual current bank balance being passed to Quickbooks through their API direct from a linked bank account, as opposed to the "In Quickbooks" balance, which calculates a balance according to a start date, start balance, and currently entered expenses, journal entries, etc existing in Quickbooks. I would like to see this field exposed in the Quickbooks connector, as it provides different information about each account than does the "In Quickbooks" balance. Seems like an easy fix, and valuable, as it would circumvent your clients' need to get daily bank account balance data through competitors' software/APIs.

Hey Jeremiah, thanks for reaching out about this! As you may already know, most Fivetran connectors provide a direct reflection of our source's API endpoints, including the Quickbooks connector. While I do agree it would be a great feature to be able to reflect the account's bank balance in users' destinations, Quickbooks does not offer an API that allows for us to pull that field. This is most likely because Quickbooks uses external sources to retrieve the bank balances rather than Quickbooks storing the data themselves.
