It would be beneficial to allow the Dynamics 365 connector to use an Azure AD Service principal to connect as an additional option to a user account.

Not sure how to directly reply to a comment. The reason we would like to use a service principal is so that we can correlate the principle to the service that is needed, in this case the Dynamics 365 connector. With the only current option being a user account we are creating a dedicated user account object to authorize this app but falls under user account processes app processes.
