Connector Improvement: Connector Improvement : Calendly - Get planned events
CompletedHi,
We are working with the Fivetran Calendly connector to retrieve meetings booked by our clients through the calendly solution. It does not however retrieve planned meetings, only past ones.
We can find the planned events through a manual export or in the Calendly UI but not using the Fivetran connector. This is a big issue for us as we wanted to rely on it to monitor the planned events.
Is it possible to correct this ? If this is not the case, we will have to code our own custom connector.
Thank you for your answer,
Pierre

Hi Pierre,
Thank you for confirming the missing information.
Can you confirm which API you are able to use to get the data?- I'm thinking list-events have you tried it?
I recall that there was something challenging about the API when we reviewed it around needing to provide the time range for the future events - which means we have a hard time knowing when to stop looking. I will see if I can verify and talk to the team about revisiting options for getting this data added.
Thank you once againAlison

Hello Alison,
Thanks for your message.
Yes indeed, that's the API endpoint I checked. I understand, as the request is based on the start time, it can be complicated to know when to stop looking (as you mentioned).
However, it would be great to be able to either select a max start_time in the parameters, or better : have the connector trying to retrieve the future events until there is no further events returned by the API and/or a limit is reached.
Otherwise, the value of the connector is quite limited for a lot of usages without the planned events.
Thanks,
Pierre

Hi,
We are having the same problem. Even if it is difficult to have a custom start time for everyone, it would be good to have at least a set time, like a year in the future or 3 months. Planned events are important for us to show on the reports as they are a good measure of demand on the upcoming months.
Thanks,

I'm happy to announce we identify a way to retrieve future events and have merged the change today. It should be available from Monday.
