Connector Improvement: Stripe subscription (cancellation_details) churn reason
CompletedOne of the most important metrics for startups is subscription cancellation (churn). Stripe allows users to request the a cancellation reason when deleting the subscription.
Would it be possible to sync the cancellation_details from the stripe subscription API.

This should be very quick to implement and could provide a lot of value!

Hi - thanks for submitting this request! I definitely see the value add of having the subscription cancellation included in our Fivetran schema. I added this to our backlog of items to work on, however I won't be able to provide an exact estimate on when this is expected to be completed. We will continue to collect customer demand to justify the commitment to support & maintain a high-quality Fivetran connector. Every upvote on this request increases the case to build it.

This would be an extremely useful feature for us and I'm honestly surprised to see that it has yet to be prioritized. Does fivetran not want to know why their customers cancel their subscriptions because my business sure wants to know.

Our continued use of Fivetran depends on our ability to get the cancellation reasons out of the data that is transferred to BigQuery. This case has been open for over a year and its just adding two additional columns in a table were already mapping. Can you please let us know if this is on the table or if we need to find a different solution?

@kate sullivan - we finally gave up and wrote something to grab these reasons daily using the API. Super inefficient but it seems like Fivetran isn't interested in getting this going.

Our Fivetran rep explained to us 2 months ago that it essentially wasn't going to happen. Seems like an easy win, but I'm sure there's much to their prioritization that we don't see.
