Connector Improvement: Jira Response Errors in Logs
Currently, error messages associated with custom fields failing to sync do not show up in the Fivetran error logs, meaning we would have to do a full scale audit calling the API on our end to figure out whether all custom fields are coming through properly. At that point, we might as well write the code to sync the data ourselves.

I'm a product manager at Fivetran and hoping I can help here.
First, I want to make sure I understand your problem correctly. Are you saying that there are no error logs at all related to custom fields? Or are you saying that there is some information missing within the message related to the custom field?
Can you also confirm that this is related to your Jira connector and tell me how you access the logs (Fivetran Log Connector, the UI, an external log service)?
