Dashboard Improvement: Grouping connectors/destinations and

I'd like to be able to group destinations and connectors (and possibly users) into arbitrary groups and then assign permissions to people via those groups.

For example, I'd like all of my Staging destinations to be in a group that I could then assign permissions for a user to access just that set of destination. An extension of that would be putting all of our developers into a group and then allowing that developer user group access to the staging destination group. 

I don't see an easy way to do that and it looks like I'd have to give very granular access to each destination for every user independently.

    Hi Thomas,

    Thank you for reaching out to Fivetran. Currently, we don't have a process for grouping destinations. However, we do recommend using teams to accelerate this process as outlined here.

    Using teams, our recommended workflow would be to:

    1. Create a team
    2. Set permissions for destinations and connectors
    3. Set a team manager who can manage memberships to the team
    4. Add users to the team who automatically inherit all permissions assigned to the team.
