Connector Improvement: Allow reverse SSH tunnel to Amazon MSK connector

Hi,

We are looking to use Fivetran against our MSK cluster to consume events into our warehouse. We already use a reverse SSH connection for some other connectors (AWS Aurora for example). This does not seem to be a supported approach for the MSK connector at the moment.

We favour the reverse SSH approach as it gives us complete control over what is authorised to connect to what. We'd prefer this over allow listing Fivetran IP addresses too.

I'd be happy to discuss our requirements further.

    Thank you for trying out our Fivetran MSK connector and for taking the time to request this feature. Its not currently on our roadmap however we are very committed to security so I'm happy to work with the team to find a slot for it.
    Every customer who upvotes this request will help make the case for it.
