We use a VPN connection to get at on-premise sources. We would like to be able to use host names rather than IP addresses, but have a company policy not to provide DNS to third-party VPN connections. Ideally, we would like to create a host file on Fivetran's end to resolve DNS names.

This is a particular issue with Oracle SCAN listeners. The SCAN listener responds with a DNS name rather than an IP address, so we're prevented from using this functionality until we have a way to resolve names.
