Connector Improvement: Please add email alert for files that do not match file name pattern specified in email connector setup
It'd be great if the email connector could send us an alert when a file is sent that does not match the pattern specified in the connector setup. Some of our file feeds are manually sent (and sometimes sent to the wrong connector), and without an alert we don't find out for some time.

Hi David,
Thank you for sharing details of your email connector use case.
I'm thinking that this type of alert could be very noisy as to not connectors have file patterns setup and if they are setup they are there explicitly to filter files that you don't want processes.
I'm wondering if giving you visibility into the files that have been emailed to us would be a move effective way to meet the same need to more quickly spot an error?Thank you
