    Hi Toby, Luke, and Stephan,

Thanks for the detailed request and for up-voting ArcGIS Online. Good news: our AI Connector Agent, now in Beta, can already generate a fully-managed Fivetran connector for most REST-based APIs including ArcGIS Online’s Hosted Feature Service (HFS).

What you need to get started:

    1. API docs – a public ArcGIS REST reference URL or a PDF / OpenAPI spec.

    2. Connection details – your ArcGIS org URL, service name, and token (or username/password).

    Next steps:

    1. Follow the setup guide here → https://fivetran.com/docs/connectors/ai-connector-agent

    2. Upload the ArcGIS API docs or paste the public docs URL when prompted.

    3. Generate the connector, select the layers (tables) you want, and run the first sync.

If you hit any snags whether with auth, geometry columns, or pagination, just open a Fivetran Support ticket and our team will investigate. Because AICA connectors are fully managed, there’s no custom code for you to maintain.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes. We’re excited to see the geospatial use cases you unlock!

    Best,

    Tom
