It is not currently possible to check the status of a connector via the API (e.g. New/Beta/Lite/Private Preview).

Providing this information within the meta endpoint would be very useful. We currently have to work around the fact that the API returns Lite connectors, which in some cases are not ready and cannot be configured programmatically.
