Question

On adding a new table, we can select the whole table to sync from the schema tab however if we want to modify the table/columns selection, the connector wouldn't allow it as all the columns are greyed out.

If you are unable to select a column please make sure that the Fivetran user has access to these columns. If not, pause the connector and then grant the permissions and unpause the connector as this would avoid the connector from creating the standard config for your connector excluding tables/columns without access.

Cause

Currently, when a connector starts a sync it would have pulled all the table's standard config to help the connector sync. So if the Fivetran user doesn't have permission for certain tables/columns and provides it during a sync the connector would take 12- 24 hours to include it as the standard config would have identified these tables/columns as system excluded.

Once a schema is cached, it would take around 12- 24 hours depending on our deployment cycle for the cache to clear.
