Question
What are Orphans?
Environment
Local Data Processing
Answer
Orphans are HVR objects where a child row was found but the repository did not include the parent row. These conditions can be generated by manually executing SQL against the repository catalog tables which may result in orphan rows. The most common case is when rows exist in the hvr_table
table pointing to a channel id that no longer exists in the hvr_channel table. Below is a sample of the Orphans.
These Orphaned rows can be deleted without issues from the HUB.
