How do I get notified by HVR in that replication is not meeting our requirements/SLA?
You can schedule a maintenance job that check for latency by specifying a threshold as to when you want to be alerted and have an email to a group monitored email. Alternatively you can send an alert to a slack channel as described in another How-To-Article @ How To set up a slack channel for alert
Launch HVR GUI as the System Administrator then go to your hub scheduler where you wish to add the maintenance task.
2. Create a new maintenance task clicking on Add and giving it a name, ie latency_monitoring. The task is then configured as shown below with the desired option for interval. Then click save
3. Saving the above configuration for latency_monitoring in the HVR gui creates a Windows task in the Task Scheduler, authored by HVR Software
4. In order to modify the internal for how this task runs if you want to increase or decrease the interval outside of the windows HVR provides, ie. < 5mins or > 1 hour, right click on the task that is named in this format hvrmaint-latency_monitoring-hubname and select ‘Properties’.
NOTE: It is recommended to run manually to determine approximately how long it takes to complete. Be careful scheduling so jobs do not start before prior completes.
5. In the properties window, go to ‘Triggers’ tab and double click on the trigger which defines the schedule on which the task is run.
6. In the next window, under “Advanced setting” you will find the ‘Repeat task every:’ option which can be modified to meet your needs for interval if greater than or larger then the min/max intervals you can set in the HVR maintenance GUI.
7. Click “OK” twice to save and return back to the Task Scheduler Library to confirm that the new schedule is saved.
