Issue

While restarting hvrremotelistener through the command line, one of the following errors appears:

F_JC0038: Pid-file contained value ' ' which could not be converted to a process-id number.

F_JC0041: The above error was encountered while stopping old daemon using pid-file 'C:/hvr/hvr_config/files/hvrremotelistener4344_WIN-HHKRS7G6TF6.pid'.

F_JC003A: Pid-file appears to be empty. It should contain the process-id number of a current or previous daemon.

F_JC0041: The above error was encountered while stopping old daemon using pid-file 'C:/hvr/hvr_config/files/hvrremotelistener4344_WIN-HHKRS7G6TF6.pid'.

Resolution

This can be resolved by deleting the file mentioned in the error message and restarting the hvrremotelistener on a remote machine.
