If you have an Account Administrator role, you can test that Fivetran’s IP addresses are safelisted against your database host’s or SSH tunnel host’s IP address in the Fivetran dashboard. If you do not have sufficient access, reach out to your Account Administrator for help.
TIP: Learn more about our user roles in our Role-Based Access Control documentation.
Do the following to check that Fivetran’s IPs are safelisted:
-
Log in to your Fivetran dashboard.
-
Go to the Settings tab in the account management page.
TIP: For help navigating our account management page, read our Navigating account management documentation.
-
Scroll down to the Test source or destination connection for new IPs section.
-
Enter the host, port number, and region. See our Add Fivetran IPs page to identify the IPs that you need to safelist.
-
Click Test. If the test succeeds, you’ll see a Connection Established Successfully message. If the test does not succeed, you’ll see an error message instead.
