Perform the steps listed in Microsoft’s data management documentation to export data entities from the Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations application into your Microsoft Azure SQL database.
Configure Azure SQL databaselink
Perform the database-specific steps listed in our Azure SQL Database Setup Guide to configure your database.
Finish Fivetran configurationlink

In the connector setup form, enter the Destination schema prefix.
Each database from your source will be mapped to a schema in the destination database by adding a prefix to the source database name.

Enter the Host name.

Enter the Port number.

Enter your User name.

Enter your Password.

Enter the name of the Database you want to replicate from.

Select your Connection Method. You can Connect directly or Connect using a SSH tunnel:

Connect directly: Fivetran connects directly to your database instance. This is an easy and secure connection method. To connect directly, create a firewall rule to allow access to Fivetran’s IPs.

Connect using a SSH tunnel: Fivetran connects to a separate server in your network that provides an SSH tunnel to your database. You must connect through SSH if your database is in an inaccessible subnet on a virtual network. To connect using SSH, create a firewall rule to allow access to your SSH tunnel server’s IP address. See our SSH connection documentation.

If you connect using a SSH tunnel, enter the following details:
- SSH Host
- SSH Port
- SSH User
- Public Key
- (Optional) Set the Require TLS through tunnel to ON if you want to use TLS.

Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations data.
