Issue

While setting up the Google Ads connector, the following error appears:

No client accounts found for the connected user

Environment

Connector: Google Ads

Resolution

Please makes sure of the following to resolve this issue

• Check if the connected account is a master account that has access to the Google Ads API. If it is a client account, it will not have API access.
• The selected master account should not have a sub-master account. If it does, connect the sub-master account instead.
• The ads in the client accounts should be active for us to pull the data. If you have created a campaign in the past and are currently not running it, we will not be able to access any data.

Cause

This issue occurs when the connector is not able to locate any ads in the account. The user is trying to connect to a master account that has sub-accounts.
