Issue
While completing a test connection for Google Analytics 360, the below permission errors appear in the dashboard.
Environment
Connector: Google Analytics 360
Resolution
Adding the required permissions to the service account will resolve this issue. Follow the steps below:
- In your connector setup form, make a note of the unique auto-generated email address at the bottom of the setup form (for example,
g-generated-account@fivetran-production.iam.gserviceaccount.com). You will need this email to configure your source system to sync with Fivetran. -
Validate this by going to the Dataset in Bigquery and selecting Share Dataset
- Check if the service account from Step 1 is present.
- If the service account is not present, add it.
Cause
The associated dataset for the connector might not have the required permissions.
