You are interested in setting up a Netsuite connector but are not sure about which permissions to get started with. You are looking for a core set of Fivetran tables and respective Netsuite permissions to begin syncing data.
Fivetran recommends starting with the main tables used in our Netsuite dbt package. These are a great place to get started, and you can always add more tables later to meet your specific business needs.
Confirm you have the following Netsuite prerequisites:
A NetSuite SuiteAnalytics administrator account
A NetSuite administrative account
The SuiteAnalytics Connect Service enabled
A NetSuite login email
A NetSuite password
Follow our Netsuite Setup Guide
In Step 4 of the NetSuite Setup Guide (“Table Permissions”), follow this table for each table to add the permissions:
TABLE SUBTAB PERMISSION NAME accounts Lists Accounts accounting_periods Setup Manage Accounting Periods accounting_books Transactions Make Journal Entry consolidated_exchange_rates Lists Currency currencies Lists Currency customers Lists Customers classes Lists Classes departments Lists Departments expense_accounts Lists Accounts income_accounts Lists Accounts items Lists Items locations Lists Locations partners Lists Partners transaction_lines Setup Custom Column Fields transactions Transactions Find Transaction subsidiaries Lists Subsidiaries vendors Lists Vendors
- Complete the connector Setup
- Enable the tables in your “Schema” tab
- Initiate the historical sync
- Validate data meets business needs in warehouse
- (Optional) Set table permissions after initial setup for additional tables
